Lay Pastoral Care
Angels on Wheels – A ministry of providing transportation to members of the congregation unable to drive.
Bereavement Support Group – An eight-week ecumenical support group for adults mourning the loss of loved ones. Group size is limited to 10 people; cost for supplies is $25.
Easter Lily Delivery-After Easter services the lilies are taken to our shut-ins, members of our parish in Nursing Homes and the elderly in our parish.
Flower Delivery – A ministry of taking flowers from the Sunday services to those in the hospitals and those who are shut-ins.
Funeral Hostess – Helps arrange seating, coffee, and provide other needed items in Hardtner Hall at funerals during this time of grief.
Guild of the Christ Child – A ministry requiring a three-year commitment to a newly baptized member whom participants support with letters and cards and other thoughtful acts.
Hospital Visitor – A lay ministry of visitation to those in the hospitals.
Kingsley Place Eucharist--Priest and laity conduct a Eucharist the second and fourth Fridays of each month.
Lamb Ministry – A ministry of placing a wooden lamb in the yard of families to announce the arrival of a new child.
Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM II) – A lay ministry licensed by the Bishop whose participants deliver communion directly from the Holy Eucharist at the church to those who are unable to attend the services.
Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM II) Home Visit Assistants – A lay ministry whose participants accompany LEM II's on home visitations.
Rosewood Nursing Home Ministry – A ministry of visiting residents of Rosewood.
Poinsettia Delivery- After Christmas services the poinsettias are taken to our shut-ins, members of our parish in Nursing Homes and the elderly in our parish.
