Tend My Lambs Fish Fry

He said to him a third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You” Jesus said to him, “Tend my lambs."

Tend My Lambs is our Haiti mission, which began 33 years ago, in 1992. When this mission started, we were dedicated to building a school, in Begin, Haiti. After the school was built, many of our parishioners committed to supporting the school by offering scholarship assistance to the students and their families. Good Shepherd has been committed to this endeavor ever since. Not only did we build a school; but we have actually rebuilt the school because of the devastating earthquake that occurred in 2010. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. It has been torn apart by earthquakes, political unrest, corruption, and hurricanes. but we know the only way to truly make Haiti a safe and thriving country is by educating the generations to come.

There are multiple ways in which you can participate: 1) you can provide a scholarship of $50.00 per month for a child; 2) you can donate to our library in Begin, Haiti, 3) you can buy tickets for our fish fry. The proceeds from the fish fry go directly to the benefit of our School community in Begin, Haiti. The Fish Fry this year will be February 23, 2024 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm; drive through-pick up only. Come on out and pick up some delicious fried fish and all the fixings.
